If you appreciate wine and typical local products, or are simply curious, you can visit wine estates of great importance located in the surroundings of our Tuscan Holiday Home. At just a few km from Il Casale del Madonnino it is possible to book visits in estates with wine and food tastings as well as buy the products at low prices. The visits generally last 2 hours and are interesting both for expert lovers as to those who approach this world for the first time. In a simple, clear way you will learn the process of winemaking, strolling through the vineyards and visiting the cellars, often underground and full of fascinating secrets. The wine estates we have more frequent contacts with are Tenuta di Ghizzano at Ghizzano, a tiny village on the Pisan hills, not far from Iano and visible from Il Casale del Madonnino, the Degli Azzoni Avogadro wine estate at Pontedera, whereas in the Elsa Valley, at Gambassi Terme, the well-known Villa Pillo. Thanks to the contacts obtained through our restaurant "Osteria del Sole" we can also book visits in the most esteemed wine estates in the whole of Tuscany.
